Deputy Ciara Conway asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the current situation in Waterford University Hospital whereby there will be no consultant dermatologist for the summer months and where a backlog of 3000 letters to patients exists; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that patients will not even be able to get on a waiting list for the next few months; his views that this is a crisis and emergency measures need to be put in place immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
