Durkan asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the extent to which directly or through the Regulator, efforts are being made to ensure an improved quality of mobile phone services throughout all regions in the country with particular reference to eliminating black spots or areas that have consistently experienced poor or inadequate services in this regard; the extent to which reports are being sought from the service providers with a view to addressing apparent deficiencies by region or county; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
