Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the EU Petitions Committee has recommended that he should issue an apology in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if the apology will be issued; when the independent company will be appointed to analyse the scientific data collected relevant to the case as agreed at the EU Petitions Committee; the cost to date of all Government agencies involved in the examination of the case; if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that some recordings of data were under recorded by 50%; if he will investigate same; if he will assist the person to recoup losses at their farm during this time; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
