Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he will create a mechanism whereby local chambers of commerce and the business community can engage directly and support the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor initiative in an official capacity, in particular, that the work and data already completed in respect of the M1 corridor project and the M1 payments corridor and the persons involved in the these projects can add value to the initiative.; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
