250 Mr. McGuinness asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of adults and children who suffer from cystic fibrosis in the south east; the level of service available in the south east at present; her plans to expand the service; if a special cystic fibrosis unit is needed in the region; if a cystic fibrosis team made up of a suitably qualified nurse, consultant, dietician, physio and social worker will be put in place; if this is classified as a priority for the region by the Health Service Executive; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
