167 Deputy Olivia Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will clarify the conditions of staff who will transfer to the newly formed Qualifications and Quality Assurance Authority of Ireland, particularly non-remuneration-based conditions as outlined in section 21, subsection 2 of the Bill; if he will clarify his comments at Second Stage debate (details supplied) that the apparent diminishment of staff conditions is not the Bill’s intent and if these conditions will be the same as those outlined in the Qualification (Education and Training) Act 1999; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
