Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he is satisfied that all the issues that arose culminating in the inclusion of horsemeat in beef burgers have been resolved satisfactorily to the satisfaction of his Department and that of the European Union, in this country and throughout the EU; if he is satisfied that the various procedures in place are being strictly observed in the spirit of the letter; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
