Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he has been made aware that 40,000 rounds of ammunition have gone missing from a Police Service of Northern Ireland facility, enough to fully equip 2,352 handguns; given the potential threat to life in the North of Ireland, and indeed in this State, if he will be engaging with the Executive to determine the circumstances of the incident and seek assurances that all the ammunition will be recovered.
