219 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Transport when the guidelines for the erection of speed limits outside rural national schools will be published; if his attention has been drawn to the problems confronting the pupils, staff and parents of a school (details supplied) in County Galway, that this school is situated on the busy N63, that the school playground is situated on the opposite side of the road and that if this school is to use the school warden system, the speed limit approaching the school from both sides will have to be reduced considerably; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
