PQ 19

19. Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform in the context of the rationalisation, merging or abolition of over 180 State agencies to maximise the value for taxpayers, if his Department seeks to establish merged or new agencies in locations outside of Dublin which would promote balanced regional development and in view of the fact that agencies are more suited to being established away from Departments in view of their often autonomous nature; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
