Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she will accept the arbitrator's findings in the recent arbitration process into the pay and remuneration of school secretaries and caretakers which recommended that increases be made to the hourly rates paid to workers, the changes she will make to the ancillary service grant and if she will provide advice and assistance to boards of management in schools on how to proceed if these recommendations are implemented; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
