Deputy John Brady asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the measures that will be taken in respect of the decision by the IDA to appoint a business development consultant in Israel to ensure proper procedures with regard to the processing and transferring of personal data in view of the fact that the proposed consultant will be based in Israel; the way in which a data breach will be managed in these circumstances; if a risk assessment has been carried out in view of the duty of care of the IDA under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
