O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has breast cancer has been waiting over six weeks for admission to a hospital in Cork to commence radium treatment; if her further attention has been drawn to the fact that this person is unable to attend this hospital on a daily basis due to their age and has to be admitted as an in-patient while undergoing treatment; and if she will arrange to have a bed made available without further delay.
