Deputy Paul Lawless asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason that the jobseeker's pay related benefit does not provide for adult or child dependant additions, as was the case under the previous jobseeker's benefit scheme; if an assessment was carried out on the impact this change would have on single income households with multiple dependants; if his Department intends to review this aspect of the scheme in light of the financial implications for affected families; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
