192 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Education and Science if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the board of management of a school (details supplied) has announced that the school will close and that the pupils have a very short period of time to find alternative secondary school places; if the boards of management of adjacent schools will be contacted by her Department with a view to ensuring that the displaced pupils will be given priority in order that they can be accommodated into the different schools having regard to the preference and choice of the pupils and their parents; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
