Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to outline which other EU member states saw an increase in demand for gas of at least by 8 % in the period from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 compared to the average gas consumption during the reference period per the revised definition in the political agreement related to the proposal for an EU Council Regulation amending Regulation (EU) 2022/1369 as regards prolonging the demand reduction period for reduction measures for gas and reinforcing the reporting and monitoring of their implementation.
