Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if he will intervene as a State investor for the stalled liquified gas terminal and combined heat and power plant of Tarbert-Ballylongford, County Kerry due to the withdrawal by the Hess Corporation Investment Company from the project, and as Shannon LNG Limited has spent €63 million on the project to date, it is imperative that the Government would ensure that the viability of this development will be progressed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
