Deputy Eamon Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the status of the requirement to provide social housing as part of the Spencer Dock development project on North Wall Quay in the Dublin docklands; if he has agreed the use of a site at the junction of Sheriff Street Upper and New Wapping Street for the provision of such social housing; the legal status for such a requirement to provide social housing units in circumstances where the ownership of a development may have changed hands; and if there are any circumstances where such an obligation may be removed.
