Deputy Marc MacSharry asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 219 of 8 June 2018, if the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman can now consider older cases under the Financial Services and Ombudsman Act 2017 from persons that were of the view that they were mis-sold payment protection insurance in cases in which the conduct being complained of occurred during or after 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
