Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the reason he and his departmental officials were insistent on taking actions during the past two years which are causing compounded trauma and distress to Dignity4Patients clients who attended the Drogheda review in 2010; these individuals are all former patients who allege serious incidents of sexual violence when ill or injured and were all patients of the Irish health service at the time of the alleged assaults; the steps that have been taken by him and his officials to ensure their well-being and recovery; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
