11 Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Defence the amount expended by Reserve Units on (1) messing and (2) conveyance in 1989, 1990 and up to 31 August, 1991; the number of sub-units allocated transport as at 31 October, 1985, 31 October, 1990 and currently; the number of such vehicles (i) over five years old, (ii) under three years old and (iii) currently unserviceable; and the number of occasions by unit and command, that civilian transport was hired in each year 1988 to 1990 and to 31 August, 1991.
