200 Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will confirm that the installation aid scheme is closed to new applicants as stated in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 232 of 18 February 2009 and not temporarily suspended as stated in December 2008; if he conducted a review of the impact of the scheme on the recruitment of new farmers into the profession; and if he envisages a new scheme to foster the recruitment of new trained farmers into the profession in 2009 and onwards.
