201 Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 613 of 26 June 2007, the reason schools (details supplied) in Dublin 9 must reapply for funding for the much needed refurbishment works for their schools and assembly hall in view of the fact that this application was already made in the context of the proposed amalgamation of the schools; if she will give approval for these works to proceed in view of their urgent nature; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
