PQ 207

207. Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage with specific regard to older renters in the private rental sector, the protections/measures, if any, that are in place to protect older people who now find themselves at the mercy of ever increasing rents, no security of tenure and facing into huge income reductions, and if any consideration could be given to local authorities possibly expediting allocation of age appropriate housing, similar to Dublin City Council’s policy.
