PQ 208

279 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his plans to expand the number of dogs available to An Garda Síochána in view of the low level of such useful resources here compared to many other countries internationally; and if he will make a statement on the matter in view of the fact that the success rates of detections are acknowledged elsewhere and we currently have to bring in resources from outside the jurisdiction rather than deploying more of our own resources.
