211 Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of unaccompanied minors who having reached the age of 18 years since 1 January 2011, who have received notice, either from the Health Service Executive or the Reception and Integration Agency to tell them they are to be moved out of foster homes and into direct provision centres; the provision, if any, that is made in each of aged out minors in relation to their continued education be it at leaving certificate level or otherwise; if any have been granted the opportunity to remain in their foster placement in order to complete their education; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
