Deputy Thomas Byrne asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the situation with regard to the categorisation of houses for pyrite remediation by the NSAI; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that there is a contention among home owners that their homes will fall short of these new guidelines and remain not remediated while their neighbours may have been remediated; if his attention has further been drawn to the distress that home owners are suffering as a result of this; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
