Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade further to Parliamentary Question No.189 of 19 February 2026, and reply that her Department has “no affiliation with the referenced website” includes confirmation that, since 1 January 2015, her Department has not received or responded to correspondence from any entity operating under the name ‘Diplomat.ie’; her Department has not held meetings, whether in person or virtual, with any representative of such entity; has not provided any funding, grant assistance, sponsorship, procurement payment, or other financial support to such entity or any associated legal person; and has not authorised any individual associated with that entity to act in any diplomatic, consular, trade, advisory, representative, or quasi-diplomatic capacity on behalf of the State.
