Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 478 of 01 October 2013, if he will clearly state whether he will make provisions for local authorities to use their discretion when dealing with applicants who are separated and for cost and legal reasons are still named as a joint property owner; and if he will allow local authorities to consider cases such as these for social housing.
