212 Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the reason a person who is in receipt of the disadvantaged areas scheme, has had their area of land reduced from 32.49 hectares, which was the base level for 2009 to 22.13 hectares in 2010, notwithstanding that there has been no change in their circumstances or acreage or farm activity, and if same can now be restored to their proper level of 32.49 hectares; the appropriate payment paid thereon; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
