Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if legislative change will be brought forward to enable the Revenue Commissioners discretion in cases in which it allows for cash balance schemes to be exempted from purchasing annuities to also include schemes such as the second Irish airlines superannuation scheme, IASS, supplementary funds, in order to facilitate persons to transfer into an approved retirement fund, ARF, especially those in receipt of pension and past their normal retirement date.
