Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade in view of the fact that Israel is in breach of the human rights clause (Article II) of the Euro Mediterranean Association Agreement which states that respect for human rights and democratic principles are an essential element of the treaty, if he will now call for the suspension of Israel from the Euro Mediterranean Association Agreement; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
