Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Defence if he will intervene in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Derry to ensure that the Garda Síochána vetting certificate issued in February 2015 and sent to the Defence Forces for use in the application process for the reserves is given to the appropriate persons within the Defence Forces to ensure that the person concerned is afforded the opportunity to participate in the current recruitment to the reserves on 4 July 2015.
