Deputy Donna McGettigan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science whether students enrolled in full-time programmes delivered by Teagasc are eligible to access supports under the fund for students with disabilities; whether Teagasc may apply for FSD funding on behalf of it’s students; if so , the mechanism by which such applications should be made; if not, the measures he will take to ensure that students of Teagasc are not disadvantaged in accessing disability supports compared to students in other publicly funded Further and Higher Education institutions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
