Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Education and Skills if meetings relating to children with special needs who will be transitioning to secondary school from primary school between parents, SENOs and the schools that would normally take place in March but have not taken place in 2020 due to Covid-19 will make sure that supports are in place for those children in September 2020, given that it is vitally important for their well-being that the transition takes place smoothly and they do not regress due to a lack of supports available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
