Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if she is aware that the Cork-based HSE-funded voluntary organisation (details supplied) which supports more than 2,800 children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism across Cork city and county, spent a combined total of €11.33 million on agency staff during 2024 and 2025; if she will outline the analysis her Department has carried out on whether the current funding model for HSE-funded voluntary disability service providers in Cork is sufficient to allow them to recruit and retain permanent staff without recourse to costly agency arrangements; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
