Breen asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 346 of 10 October 2006 and 179 of 25 October 2006, if she, and not the Health Service Executive’s parliamentary affairs division, has a responsibility to make a funding decision on the submissions made to her by the HSE regarding the additional funding required to operate a CT scanner unit at Ennis General Hospital; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the lack of funding is impeding the project’s progress; the decision she will make on this issue; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
