Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the public service redevelopment scheme is widely used by the public service and Civil Service; the activity of the scheme for 2017; if staff who commenced employment at Shannon Development, Shannon, County Clare, and are now employed by Shannon Commercial Properties and wish to be considered for this scheme will be provided every opportunity to obtain employment in the public service; if there is a timeframe to redeploy this particular cohort of staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
