Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform how a person offered employment in the Civil Service can apply to have a determination made as to whether they are entitled to incremental salary credit for their existing public service; if they must give up their existing employment in order to have a such determination made; the rules governing the awarding of such incremental salary credit the review or appeal processes that are open to a person unhappy with an opening determination made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
