Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government if he is satisfied that the new urban development and building heights guidelines for planning authorities under section 28 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 will not lead to significant delays in the development of strategic development zones; if a regulatory impact assessment has been carried out to assess the potential impact of these guidelines in terms of planning delays and land pricing; and if SDZs were specifically assessed as part of this process.
