231. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare the reason a GP visit card only granted two months previously has been withdrawn based on income subsequent to the lodgement of an appeal on medical grounds; if cognisance and due regard has been given to the fact that there has been no change of financial circumstances since their GP card was awarded; if he will review this case with a view to granting a full medical card in view of the severity of the applicant's medical circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
