Deputy James Geoghegan asked the Minister for Transport if he will ask the NTA to engage at an early stage with a company (details supplied) that has been appointed to design the Sandymount flood defence scheme in a contract fully funded by the Office of Public Works, and administered by Dublin City Council, with a view to adopting a joined-up approach to the scheme which could facilitate active travel measures and connectivity in the provision of coastal cycling infrastructure across Dublin bay; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
