Deputy Mick Wallace asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment further to Parliamentary Question No. 85 of 27 June 2017, if his Department carried out a separate environmental impact assessment on the burning of fossil fuels that may be found and extracted as a result of the issuing of offshore exploration licenses in the Atlantic margin; if not, the reasoning behind this approach in view of the fact that the reports that he linked to in his reply have no mention of burning fossil fuels; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
