PQ 238
238. Deputy Kevin O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he recognises that the same weather cycle that caused flood damage and loss of fodder to farmers was also responsible for creating the excessive sea mist from which the salt-drift arose and in turn destroyed the winter barley crops along the south coast; if he will investigate this and pay compensation to the farmers affected; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
