240 Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Staigue Fort in Castlecove, County Kerry is frequented by many visitors and Kerry County Council has a policy of not cutting hedges on roads; if, due to the volume of traffic on this road to the fort, the Office of Public Works will make an exception in this case and for the very small sum involved and in the interest of safety and cut the hedges to this national monument once a year as part of regular maintenance; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
