Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the way in which members of the public may view and or inspect the Moneylenders, Credit and Mortgage Intermediaries Registers established under the Consumer Credit Act 1995; if his attention has been drawn to the limited time period in which persons may inspect this register; and if he will consider the use of a statutory instrument in order to open the registers on a full-time basis.
