Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills if in view of its being moved into the aegis of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta will continue to be facilitated in conducting all business through Irish and the ongoing research pertaining to the teaching of Irish as a first and second language will continue to be facilitated; if he envisages any curtailment of services or research otherwise undertaken by the COGG; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
