Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources further to Parliamentary Question No. 472 of 18 February 2014, if he can confirm another tender process was started on 23 December 2013 to appoint another set of consultants to oversee the postcode contract with Capita; the amount the contract is worth for this new tender; the reason the original tender was awarded if it was not known whether the proposed Capita postcode was fit for purpose or not; when the new tender will conclude; when it will be known if the proposed Capita postcode is fit for purpose from the new consultants; and the actions he will take if it is decided that the proposed Capita postcode is not fit for purpose.
