PQ 249

249. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if permissions to reside here will be renewed on a temporary basis for Venezuelan nationals based on their most recent passport even if they are out of date for less than two years and in cases in which the applicant can prove that they have applied to renew their passport, in view of the chaotic situation in that country which means that many passports cannot be renewed at this time even though valid applications for same have been made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
