Durkan asked the Minister for Health the extent to which he remains satisfied that adequate resources remain available for child psychology and psychiatry services, with particular reference to early intervention and identification of the relevant and appropriate supports, thereby making available an adequate suite of services to meet the growing requirements evenly throughout the country; the results of any analysis that has been undertaken to identify possible weaknesses in the services over the past number of years; the steps required to improve the services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
